HIGHLIGHTS
Buddhist Master He Qilong from Lijiang was specially invited to view the mural project, and to offer blessings to the mural paintings and the participating families. Thus the Mural Project was declared to be accomplished. July 11, 2009. Further documentation of each mural is forthcoming.
1. He Guizhen family - Wu Junyong
Artist Wu Junyong has painted a troupe of animals who follow one another tail-in-mouth, strolling in a mighty troop after a trumpet player.
Master blessed He Guizhen family's mural painting, saying ¡°the painting is very interesting¡± and ¡°the pig legs are too long¡±
2. He Chengguang family - Tang Yi
He Chengguang family's advertisement for homemade cinderblocks sits on the wall of a shop nearby, facing the road. The shop owner has protested fiercely against the painting on the grounds that it contained a snake. Later on, the artist, Tang Yi, reluctantly changed the snake into a dragon. That did not satisfy He Chengguang's family and the painting was at last covered.
Master blessed the advertisement painting, considering the covered part in the painting to be a dragon, not a snake. 
This mural painting is located by the gate of He Chengguang¡¯s younger brother¡¯s family. He Chengguang's sister-in-law said there was nobody believing in Buddhism in the family, so they didn¡¯t accept the blessing.
3. He Simei family - Liu Bin
He Simei family is very poor and the mother died when the kids were very young. Some think that this airplane by Liu Bin expresses the wish for her family to rise in the future. Some also think that her family won¡¯t be able to catch up with others unless they take an airplane.

4. He Zhanwei family - Yu Xudong
Artist Yu Xudong¡¯s experimental mural painting was carried out remotely, realized through 7 local Lijiang artists¡¯ cooperation through an event of eating, drinking, playing and enjoying, dedicating their sentiments to the mountains and the rivers.

5. Mu Zhanyun family - Na yingyu + Mu Wenzhang + Hu Jiamin
Manchu artist Na Yingyu made up a historical marriage between local Naxi lord Mu and a Manchurian Princess of Qing Dynasty. Lord Mu and the background were painted by local Naxi painter Mu Wenzhang and the Princess by Han artist Hu Jiamin.

6. Mu Zhansheng family - He Zhiqin + Duan Jianyu
Artist Duan Jianyu¡¯s experimental painting was executed remotely. The sketch was further developed under the house owner Mu Zhansheng¡¯s advice. During the painting process, the whole picture was done by a pure amateur, a farmer painter He Zhiqin from the village except for some sketches by Li Lisha, the manager of the mural project.

7. He Weilin family - Unsex Pig (L¨¹ Chaohui & Huang Xian)
Artists L¨¹ Chaohui and Huang Xian designed one ¡°Lijiang cultural gastronomy¡±: steamed snow mountain with temples, roasted pagoda with cranes. This painting has had no backwash in the village and the family was very content as well.
Master was not content, refusing to bless He Weilin family¡¯s mural painting.
8. He Xuquan family - Piet Trantel (Germany)
A German passerby has come to Jixiang Village for the first time, who replaced a mobile advertisement¡¯s ¡°industrial blue¡± with multiple colors. The second time he came to the village, he tampered with the text of the mobile advertisement, aiming to reveal big industrial company¡¯s nature behind its beautiful appearance.
Due to the problem of timing, master blessed He Xuquan family¡¯s mural painting at a distance.
9. Zhao Qirui family - Lei Lei
Artist Lei Lei has painted a wonderful world with lots of imagination in Zhao Quri family¡¯s yard.
Master blessed Zhao Qirui family¡¯s mural painting, proclaiming the place ¡°very propitious in Feng Shui¡±.
10. Mu Zansong family - Liu Chuanhong
Artist Liu Chuanhong has put certain heroic scenes from the 80¡¯s into the romantic traditional landscape and painted a happy ¡°whole family picture¡± according to owner Mu Zhansong¡¯s aesthetic demands.
